Submit the Master Document for Review as a Rendering Provider

As a rendering provider, you can submit the master document, which includes the details and findings documented in the current encounter. Before you begin Before you submit the master document, ensure that you have a supervising provider assigned to you in System Administrator. System Administrator Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Finalize template. On Provider Sign Off, select Submit to supervising provider for review. You can submit and review the plan of care based on your role in the Provider Sign Off panel. The Provider Sign Off panel allows you to submit and review the plan of care based on your role. As a rendering provider, you can send a request to the supervising provider to review and sign off the Master Im document. Sign Off for Chart Review

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. When review and sign-off is completed, do one of the following: Select the I have reviewed and agree with treatment provided checkbox in the Documents and Printing panel. Select the I certify the need for these services furnished under this plan of treatment while under my care checkbox. Review and Sign Off Care Plans

The Provider Sign Off section enables you to send a request to the supervising physician for review and sign off to indicate that the plan of care provided to the patient is appropriate. The supervising provider can sign-off in the encounter from the Provider Sign Off section. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Finalize - Cardiology template. Click the Evaluation and Management Coding section. Select the appropriate provider sign off checkbox and click Submit Code. Configure a Provider for Manual Supervisor Sign-off

You can configure a provider who does not always need a supervisor sign-off on the encounters. Open the Practice Configuration template. In Finalize Visit Settings panel, click the blank field below the Submit to Supervisor Settings grid. The Providers Requiring Supervisors picklist opens. Note: The picklist shows a list of providers that have the Supervisor Required setting in the provider master file in the File Maintenance. Submit a Request to Supervising Therapist for Review

The Submit to supervising therapist for review checkbox enables you to request a review from the supervising therapist and sign-off on the daily treatment notes when a PTA does the exercises and therapies with the patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. Select the Submit to supervising therapist for review checkbox. To change the treating therapist, click the field and select from the corresponding list. The Treating therapist field displays the currently selected provider.The Select Task Recipients window opens. Select Task Recipients From the left pane of the Select Task Recipients window, select one or more users listed under the appropriate practice(s).
