Remove Non-CMS Provider Measures

You can remove a non-CMS Provider measure that is configured for the CPT II codes. You can remove the provider configuration any time. Removed measures are not deleted but are disabled, and are not displayed on the Exceptions/Measures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. Expand the Provider Measures (not CMS) panel. From the All Providers Measure grid, select a measure. The data fields are filled with the details from the selected measure, and Remove is enabled. Select Remove.The selected measure has been removed. Note: You can restore the removed measures to the Active list any time. Update Non-CMS Provider Measures

You can update the non-CMS Provider measures that are configured for the CPT II codes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Provider Measures (not CMS) panel, select a measure in the All Providers Measure grid. The data fields are filled with the details from the selected measure, and Update is enabled. Modify the data fields. Note: If you clear a mandatory field, Update is disabled until you enter data in the field. Select Update.The selected measure has been updated. Configure Non-CMS Provider Measures

You can configure non-CMS Provider measures for CPT II codes. To enable a provider to document an exception and submit a CPT II code manually, you must assign a measure to a provider. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. Provider Measures (not CMS) Panel In the Provider Measures (not CMS) panel, select the Provider field. Select a provider in the list. Select the System field, and select Claims Based Measures. Note: The grid displays measures that have been set up in the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel on the Provider CQM Maintenance template that matches the System selection you have selected. Select the Measure # field, and select a measure in the list.The Measure short description field displays the description of the measure. Select Add.The Provider Measures (not CMS) configuration is added to the All Providers Measure grid. Remove a Measure for Claims-Based Reporting

You can remove measures at any time. Removed measures are not deleted, but are disabled and do not appear on the Exceptions/Measures template. If you remove a measure, patient measures created when the measure was active retain the values. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, select a measure in the grid. The data fields are filled with the data from the selected measure and Remove is enabled. Select Remove.The selected measure has been removed. Note: To view the removed measures, select the Removed option above the grid. You can restore the removed measures to the Active list. You can restore the removed measures as active measures in the grid. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Claims-Based Reporting Setup panel, select the Removed option above the grid.The removed measures appear in the grid. Select a measure to restore.Add is enabled. Select Add.The selected measure has been restored and appears on the Active list. Update a Measure for Claims-Based Reporting

You can update the claims-based reporting measures anytime for reporting. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, select a measure in the grid.The data fields have been filled with the measure details and Update is enabled. Modify the data fields. Note: If you clear a mandatory field, Update is disabled until you enter a data in the mandatory field. Select Update.The selected measure has been updated. Note: If you modify the fields, and then select Add, a new measure is created and the selected measure is not updated.
