The grid refreshes and the deleted goal no longer appears in the grid.

Update an Existing Goal
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the PT Goal Administration template, select the goal to be modified in the Saved available goals section.The details of the goal populate the fields in the Field Selection section above the grid. Configure Physical Therapy Goals
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System/Practice Template. Select the Practice tab. Set Show to All. Scroll down and double-click PT Goal Administration. The PT Goal Administration template opens. Goal Administration Select the Template name field, then select the name of an HPI or PE template from the list. Select the Table field, then select the name of a table from the list. Select the Field field, then select the name of the field from the list. Select the Goal type field, then select the type of goal from the picklist. Select the Custom description field to type in a description. Select the Value mask field to type in a numeric value. Select the Value translation field to enter an interpretation for the value entered in the Value mask field. Select the fields for Normal values and enter one or more normal values for the goal.By default, the Normal values fields display ‘NULL’. Up to four normal values can be entered by replacing the value NULL. If not using

Remove a Goal
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Objective template, highlight the goal to be deleted in the Goals panel grid. Click Remove.The grid no longer displays the selected goal. Parent topic: Patient Goals

Update Therapy Goals
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Objective template, in the Goals panel, click the Add button to launch the Therapy Goals template. On the Therapy Goals template, highlight a row in the Added goals grid.The edit fields above the grid display details for the selected goal. Make any changes in enabled edit fields. Click Update.The Added goals grid displays the updated goal. Click Save & Close to return to the Objective template.The information appears in the Goals panel. Parent topic: Patient Goals

Remove a Health Concern Goal
You can only remove a health concern goal from the encounter where the latest intervention or outcome was recorded. When you remove a goal, the system removes all associated interventions and outcomes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the patient encounter where the latest intervention or outcome for the goal to be removed was recorded. Open to the Goals, Interventions and Outcomes panel. Select the goal to be updated in the left grid.The system fills the fields to the right of the grid with the data from the selected record. Remove a Goal Intervention
You can remove an intervention from the current encounter without restriction. You can also remove interventions from prior encounters, but you cannot remove an intervention from an earlier encounter if outcome data has been entered for that intervention during a subsequent encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open to the Goals, Interventions and Outcomes panel. Select the goal in the left grid that has an intervention to be removed. The system fills the fields to the right of the grid with the data from the selected record. Select the intervention to be removed. Select Remove.
