Record the Pre-Procedure Vital Signs of the Patient
In the Vital Signs Monitoring panel, select Add.The Vital Sign Monitoring template opens. The Baseline Vital Signs section includes a grid to display only the baseline set of vitals documented in the Vital Signs Monitoring section in the template. In the Vital Signs Monitoring section, enter the required details. Select Save & Close to display the documented vital signs in the grid.The baseline vitals display at the top row of the grid throughout the workflow. The Height, Weight, BMI, and BSA above the grid displays the height, weight, and the calculated BMI and BSA values from the Vital Sign Monitoring template. The values associated with the Height, Weight, BMI and BSA labels above the grid dynamically update as you modify or add height and weight data on the Vital Sign Monitoring template. Vital Signs Monitoring Panel on the ASC - Intake Template
The Vital Signs Monitoring panel allows you to document the patient's vital signs, and import vital signs captured by the vital signs interface application. Vital Signs Monitoring On the ASC - Intake template, the nurse documents the baseline set of vitals to start the procedure. The baseline vitals display on all the ASC templates that have Vital Signs Monitoring panel. You can enter additional vital signs records on each of the template to depict the patient condition before, during, and after the procedure. Vital Signs Monitoring Panel on the ASC - Anesthesiology Template

Vital Signs Monitoring on the ASC - Preprocedure Template
The Vital Signs Monitoring panel displays the patient's vitals documented by the Intake staff on the ASC - Intake template. For information on the Vital Signs Monitoring panel documentation, see Vital Signs Monitoring Panel on the ASC - Intake Template. The nurse or clinical staff can review the vitals and document another set of patient's vitals during pre-procedure. Note: If the Intake staff documents the baseline set of vitals, then you cannot select the Baseline checkbox. The baseline set of vitals forms a baseline for all the vitals taken during various stages of procedures. If you have vital signs interface installed in your system, then you can directly import patient's vitals from the vital signs device to the grid in the Vital Signs Monitoring panel. Manage ASC Vital Signs
You can continuously monitor the vital signs of a patient in the Vital Signs Monitoring panel on the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. In the Vital Signs Monitoring panel, select Add.The ASC Vital Signs Monitoring template opens. ASC Vital Signs Monitoring template In the Vital Signs Monitoring section, do the following: Select the stage of monitoring. To indicate the vitals are a baseline reading, select the Baseline checkbox.The vital signs details are added to the Baseline Vital Signs grid. Enter the following details: Time Temp(F) Pulse Resp Sys BP Dias BP SpO2 CO2 (mmHg) ECG rate ECG rhythm Select the pain level and level of consciousness. Modify a Record in the Grid
