Set Up Task Recipients

You can set up task recipients. Open the Quick Task Setup template. Select User Name and select a username from the list. Select Source template and select a template from the list. Note: In run time, the task will be sent only to the recipient configured for the template. Select the location. If you select Specific, the Location field is enabled and displays the current practice location. You can also choose another practice location from the list. If you select All, the Location field remains disabled. Select the Task to field and select Individual or Group: To change the task priority from the default value of Normal, select Priority and select the priority. To modify or override the priority level, select the Allow to override checkbox.If you select Allow to override checkbox, the application opens the Quick Task Priority template when you select Quick Task from the Source Template. Modify Task Recipient Configuration

You can update task recipient using the Quick Tasks Setup template. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll to the Quick Task section. Select the Launch Quick Task link.The Quick Tasks Setup template opens. Select a row in the grid.The data fills in the corresponding fields above the grid. Open the Quick Task Setup

You can create a task using Quick Tasks. You can configure the recipients for your orders or tasks using the Practice Configuration practice template. Once configured, the task is automatically sent to the configured recipient at run time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab. Under Show, select All. A list of practice templates appears. Select Practice Configuration, and select OK.The Practice Configuration template opens. To indicate that the Category field on the Quick Task Setup template, in the Quick task section, select the Require a Category to be entered when Quick Task settings are added or updated checkbox. Configure Task Recipient

You can configure task recipient using the Quick Tasks Setup template. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll to the Quick Task section. Add a Task

You can create and assign tasks to users as an action items for them to perform. In the QuickPick toolbar, click the Task icon icon. The Add New Task template opens. Add New Task template Click the Task Name field. The Get Tasks window opens. Select the task from the Get Tasks window, and click OK. The Subject and Description fields are filled automatically. You can edit it, if required. Click the Due Date field, and select the due date to complete the task. Select the priority. Type the subject and description. Select the Attach Patient option if you need to attach the current patient to the task. Select the Attach Item option. If you select Current Template, the current template name appears in the blank field. If you select Template or Document, click the blank field to select the desired template or document. Configuration Option in Quick Task

The Quick Task Setup template allows you to configure the task recipient to automatically send the orders that are being placed in runtime. If you select the Launch Quick Task link, the Quick Task Setup template opens. Quick Task section The Require a Category to be entered when Quick Task setting are added or updated checkbox is selected by default. This indicates that the Category field on the Quick Task Setup template is a mandatory field. Note: If the task recipient is not configured in the Practice Configuration template, then the system opens the Quick Task Setup template when you select Quick Task on the ordering templates (for example, Add or Update Assessment, My Plan, Office Services, and so on) in runtime.
