Add Fracture Care Rapid Note

Click the SOAP tab and click the Rapid Note link.The Fracture Care Rapid Note template opens. Fracture Care Rapid Note In the Indication/Type of Treatment panel, the grids will be filled from the options selected and documented in the Fracture/Casting /Strapping template. If a patient has a new treatment that needs to be added, do the following: Select the required options for the Episode of Care and the Type of Treatment fields. Select the required options for the following fields from the corresponding picklists and then select Add. Indication Type of treatment Side Region Initial Treatment Date Note: The fields marked with an (*) are mandatory fields. The information is displayed in the grid. Select the required options for the following fields: Status WB Status Pain meds Using assistive device Select the Pain level and Frequency of pain from the corresponding picklists. Document the Fracture Care Details of a Patient

You can add the fracture care assessment using the Fracture Care/casting/strapping template. On the Fracture Care/casting/strapping-Proc template, click the Assessment Tool link and select the diagnosis from the Fracture Casting Strapping category. Click the Add Common Assessment link and select an assessment from the Common assessment template. Click Save & Close. In Episode of Care, select either New episode or Return Visit. Select Right or Left. In the Casting section: If required, select No Cast Charge, No Supplies Charge, or No DME Charge.The code is automatically populated in the Code field when you select a diagnosis using Assessment Tool. Click Cast, Other/Additional Casting Applications, and Modification and Status to select the required values from the respective picklists. In the Splinting/Strapping section, click Splints, Additional Splinting, Strapping, and Additional Strapping to select values from the respective picklists. Access the Fracture Care Template

Access the Home Page - ORT template. Select Office Visit as the Visit Type. Click the SOAP tab. Click to open the navigation bar and then, click Procedures. Assessments

The Today’s Diagnosis grid pulls diagnoses entered on the Fracture Care templates. Any diagnoses with a check mark is added to the corresponding procedure codes in the coding grid. Add New Diagnoses from the Common Assessment Template

The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. The grid defaults to Orthopedic to show Orthopedic-specific diagnoses. The Medical options displays other clinical diagnoses. Click Add under the grid to launch the Common Assessment template. Select a diagnosis to add to the patient’s history. Click Save & Close.
