Recording the pathology results details. Intake Staff Workflow to Schedule a Biopsy Encounter When the provider determines that a biopsy is required, the intake staff follows the required procedure. Schedule a Biopsy Encounter on the SOAP Template You can schedule a biopsy encounter on the SOAP template. Schedule a Biopsy Encounter with GET You can schedule a biopsy encounter on the GET template. Document a Biopsy Procedure You can document procedure for a patient with a specific complaint on whom you expect to perform a biopsy. Intake Staff Workflow

The intake staff follows the standard intake workflow of the Dermatology specialty and Office Visit visit type. The intake staff records demographic and medical information following guidelines established by the practice. You can refer the information documented by the intake staff and proceed with the encounter. If you are planning on billing for an office visit in addition to the procedure, the staff can select the Office Visit visit type. To bill the patient for this, the intake staff must record all the data needed for a standard office visit. If it is a planned visit for surgical treatment, the intake staff can select the Surgical Visit visit type. On the Intake template, when recording reasons for visit, the intake staff can select Do not launch HPI in the Reason for Visit panel . Intake Portion of an Injectable Encounter

The intake staff follows a standard intake workflow specifying the Specialty as Dermatology and Visit Type as Office Visit. In the Reason for Visit panel, the intake staff provides a meaningful text in the Other field, such as Botox or Filler.
