The Review of Systems panel allows you to document the findings after reviewing a list of systems.
Expand the Review of Systems panel.
In the Review of Systems panel, select ROS from the left pane.
Note: The ROS option is dependent on the specialty selected. For Ambulatory ASC specialty, you will see GI-ROS.
The speciality specific review of system template opens.
To document normal values in fields of all the sections, select the ROS defaults field and select the appropriate normal default set name from the list.
All of the fields in the template appears with normal values to allow for charting by exception.
If applicable, select the Neg or Pos option for the applicable systems in the template.
You can select the system-specific link to add detailed findings on the system.
If you want to save the documented values as the default set for the current template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template.
The default set name appears in the list generated by selecting the Quick Load button.
Select Save & Close.
The documented data appears in the grid in the Review of Systems panel.
You can select the applicable systems in the left pane to document findings.
The PHQ links below the Review of Systems panel opens the respective Patient Health Questionnaire template. The total score calculated after you answer the questions appears in the respective Score field.
Note: This PHQ link is set up by the practice in the Practice Configuration practice template. It is an optional setting. The Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-2) is a depression screening consisting of two questions. If the patient answers either of the two questions positively, a full depression screening is recommended, using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9).
