Document Physical Exam in the OB Postpartum Template

You can document physical exam in the OB Postpartum template. Select the Postpartum tab. Select the Physical Exam panel. Do one of the following: Select the Postpartum Exam option from the left pane. Select the Additional link, and then select the Postpartum Exam option from the picklist. The Postpartum Exam template opens. Select the One Page Exam link.The GYN-PE template opens. Enter the applicable information in the General Exam section in the Postpartum Exam template. If you select the All others normal/negative checkbox, the Normal checkbox is selected for all the fields. Enter the applicable information in the Breast Exam section. Select the Breast Exam link. In Breast- Physical Exam, if you select the All others normal checkbox, the Normal checkbox is selected for all the fields. Select the Genitourinary link. Document Return Appointment in the OB Postpartum Template

You can document a return appointment in the OB Postpartum template. Select the Postpartum tab. Select the Return Appointment panel. Enter the applicable time interval in the Return to office field. Select a provider in the Follow up with field. Select Save. Return Appointment To submit the code for global postpartum care only, select the Charge for Postpartum care only checkbox. Note: If you do not select the Charge for Postpartum care only checkbox, the code for the no charge postpartum visit is submitted. Document Assessment and Plan in the OB Postpartum Template

You can document assessment and plan information in the OB Postpartum template. Select the Postpartum tab. Select the Physical Exam panel. Select the Add/Update button in the Assessment/Plan panel.The Add or Update Assessment template opens. Enter the applicable information in the Add or Update Assessment template.By default the ICD-10 code displays in the Assessment/Plan grid. The system assigns the ICD code to the Assessment field on the template. This code displays by default for the Visit Type of OB Postpartum and does not include Document Pregnancy Outcome which is typically done without the patient being present. Select Save & Close. To enter information in the Consent – Procedures template, select the Consent link. To generate the proc_consent document, select the Consent button. To enter information in the Procedure Scheduling link, select the Procedure Scheduling button. Enter Information in the OB Postpartum Visit Template

You can enter information in the OB Postpartum Visit template. Select the Postpartum tab. In the General panel, do the following: General panel Enter a delivery date in the Delivery date field. Select the Cl button to clear the Delivery date field, if needed to document another date.The Postpartum Interval field is calculated based on the Delivery date field and the encounter date and displays in weeks and days. Document Pregnancy Outcome

You can document the pregnancy outcome in the Pregnancy Outcomes template in the Postpartum tab. Providers use and complete the postpartum template. Select the Postpartum tab. Select Pregnancy Outcome link.The Pregnancy Outcomes template opens. Pregnancy Outcomes template Note: The nurse or medical assistant uses the link and the provider uses the panel to document instead. On the Pregnancy Outcome panel, you can highlight a line in the pregnancy grid and print out a summary of this pregnancy in a newly-created document. This is done when all of the information is entered for the particular pregnancy by the provider. Document the pregnancy entry type, pregnancy number, and termination type/type of delivery at a minimum. However, you can also select to enter the date, sex of the baby, whether full term or preterm, and complications. Select Add to Grid.The pregnancy outcome information is added to the pregnancy grid at the bottom of the template, and allows you to add additional babies,
