Document Interpreter Details

You can document the answers for the pre-configured questions. When someone interprets patient's communication, you can document the interpreter details on the Additional Visit Information template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Expand the General panel. Select the Interpreter Details link.The Additional Visit Information template opens. Additional Visit Information template Select a specialty. Note: By default, the Interpreter Details appears in the Selected Category. The configured questions for the Interpreter Details category appear in the Pre-configured questions for selected category(s) grid. You can select show all answered questions for this encounter checkbox to filter and view the questions that are answered. You can configure additional questions on the Additional Visit Information Config template. Document General Information of Patients

You can document a patient's general information on the Intake template. When someone provides the patient details, you can document the historian details in the Historian field. When someone interprets the patient’s communication, you can select the Interpreter Details link to document the details of the interpreter. You can select Configurable Questionnaires link to document the screening details of the patient. You can select the Transitioning into Care link to document the summary of care record information for a patient. You can select the Enable HCC for this patient check box to hide or show the HCC links, badges, and grid columns on the templates at the patient level. You can select the Family planning encounter and Disability check boxes if an encounter is a family planning encounter and describes any disability. Documenting General Information of Patients

You can enter a patient's general information during the intake workflow or review and update the details during the provider workflow. General panel on Intake You can specify whether the patient is new or established for the current encounter in the General panel on the Intake template. If encounters exist for the patient, the Established patient option is automatically selected.
