Diagnosis Group for Health Maintenance or Peds Condition

You can select a diagnosis group for heath maintenance or peds condition of a patient.

When you select Health Maintenance or Peds as a Condition/Reason in the Intervention/Orders Setup panel you should also select the diagnosis group.

Configuring with a diagnosis group limits the number of choices that a user needs to search through to locate the correct diagnosis when activating the care guideline that includes this care guideline orderable item. Diagnosis groups are configured on the Dx Problem Groups Reference Systems practice template. A diagnosis must be associated with a care guideline when you activate the guideline for the patient. Choices include: Diabetes screening, general medical exam, GYN exam high risk - Female, high risk - Male, hx personal tobacco use, influenza vaccine, osteoporosis screening, pneumococcal vaccine, routine child health, screen malig neo breast, screen malig neo cervix, screen malig neo colon, screen malig neo prostate, screening lipid disorder, screening mammogram NEC, td vaccine, tdap vaccine, vaccination viral dis NEC.
