You can configure additional SNOMED codes associated with abortion, as needed, and set rules to each code as to whether the findings must be submitted to the Past Medical/Surgical history grid.
On the Data Sets Setup template, select the Data Set field, select AB History Codes, and then select OK.
Do one of the following:
Select Add to add a new code.
Select an item that you want to update and then select Update.
The Focused MedSurg Setup window appears.
Under Type, select an abortion type.
To define a rule for a finding, select the Code Value top arrow for positive finding or bottom arrow for negative finding.
The SNOMED code search window opens.
Search for and then select a SNOMED code.
The SNOMED code appears in the Code Value field. In addition, the SNOMED Description and Display Description fields have been filled.
Select a code system.
Do one of the following:
To automatically add the abortion history to the Past Medical/Surgical grid, select Send to Medical History.
To automatically add the abortion history to the Past Surgical grid, select Send to Surgical History.
In the Sort field, type a display order number.
Note: For example, typing 1 in the Sort field displays the associated item as the first item under the respective category on the Encounter Based - AB Focused Medical Questionnaire panel.
