Management Plan Setup

The Management Plan Setup practice template is designed to add detailed office follow up plans configured by the practice administration. The plans are then applied by providers to the individual patient charts either on chart review, or at the point of patient care. These configured plans also display in the Create new management plan panel in the Management Plans template. The Management Plan Setup template consists of three panels: Management Plan Configuration Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses Letter Generator Categories may need to be set up in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel. After adding the categories, you can configure a management plan in the Management Plan Configuration panel. Open the Management Plan Setup Practice Template

The practice administration configures the detailed office follow-up plans using the Management Plan Setup practice template. The plans are then applied by providers to the individual patient charts on chart review or at the point of patient care. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. In the Show section, select the All option.A list of system templates appears in the Practice tab. Configure Letters

The Letter Generator panel is designed to add details of different types of letters that are configured by practice administration. The plan letters are generated as documents and saved to patient charts. Letter Generator panel Open the Management Plan Setup template. In the Letter Generator panel, select Add.A new record template opens. New record template Enter a name in the Letter Name field. In the Linked category field, select a linked category from the list. In the Plan name field, select a plan name from the list to attach the letter to. Enter the salutation in the Salutation field. Enter the letter details in the Body field. Select a language in the Language field if a letter is in a language other than English. Select Save.The information appears in the grid. Open the Management Plan Reporting Practice Template

The Management Plan Reporting practice template enables you to filter, generate, print reports, and update individual patient records related to management plans. You can filter reports by categories, plans, status, location, and providers. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System/Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. In the Show section, select the All option.A list of system templates appears in the Practice tab. Select Management Plan Reporting.The Management Plan Reporting template opens. Configure Management Plans

You can configure the management plans and then enter the plan actions or the type of communication and time interval for the plan to be sent to the patient. The Management Plan Configuration panel is used to configure the management plans that appears on the Management Plans template. Note: You need to set up the categories in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel. The Information icon provides instructions to use the template. Open the Management Plan Setup template. In the Management Plan Configuration panel, select a category in the Category field.
