Associate NextGen Documents with Diagnostic Category
Open the
Document Mapping
system template.
Expand the
Diagnostic Report Mapping
panel, and select
NextGen Documents
.
To select a document, do the following.
Click
Document Name
.
The
Document List
window opens.
Select the desired NextGen Document.
Click
OK
.
To associate a Diagnostic Category, do the following:
Click
Diagnostic Category
.
The
Category List
window opens.
Select the desired Diagnostic Category.
Click
OK
.
In the
Comments
field, provide the reason for associating a NextGen Document with a Diagnostic Category.
To clear the information before adding them to the grid, click
Clear
.
To add a record and make it available in the grid, click
Add
.
Note:
The
Add
button is unavailable until you select all mandatory fields.
If you try to add a duplicate record, a message appears.
The configured Document Name, Diagnostic Category and Comments details are added as a record and appear in the grid.
Click
Save & Close
.
Update NextGen Documents Associated with Diagnostic Category
You can update the NextGen Documents associated with a Diagnostic Category.
Remove NextGen Documents Associated Diagnostic Category
You can remove the NextGen Documents associated with a Diagnostic Category.

Associate Document Management with Diagnostic Category
The Document Management files are available in the File Maintenance. The documents available in File Maintenance > Document Management > Document Types are retrieved and listed when you select Document Management as the document type. You can associate these Document Managements files to a Diagnostic Category. Open the Document Mapping system template. Expand the Diagnostic Report Mapping panel, select Document Management. To select a document, do the following. Click the Document Name arrow. The Document Management List window opens. Select the desired Document Management. Click OK. To associate a Diagnostic Category, do the following: Click the Diagnostic Category arrow. The Category List window opens. Select the Diagnostic Category. Click OK. In the Comments field, provide the reason for associating a Document Management with a Diagnostic Category. To clear the information before adding them to the grid, click Clear. Associate Document Management with Clinical Notes
Document Management files are available in the File Maintenance. The Visit Type window opens. Select the desired visit type. Click OK. To associate a clinical note, do the following: Click the Document LOINC Type arrow. The LOINC Type window opens. Select the desired Document LOINC Type. Click OK. The corresponding LOINC code appears in the LOINC field. Associate Crystal Reports with Diagnostic Category
Open the Document Mapping system template.. Expand the Diagnostic Report Mapping panel, select Crystal Reports. To select a document, do the following. Click the Document Name arrow. The Crystal Report List window opens. Select the desired Crystal Report. Click OK. To associate a Diagnostic Category, do the following: Click the Diagnostic Category arrow. The Category List window opens. Select the desired Diagnostic Category. Click OK. In the Comments field, provide the reason for associating a Crystal Report with a Diagnostic Category. To clear the information before adding them to the grid, click Clear. To add a record and make it available in the grid, click Add. In the Clinical Note Mapping panel, you can associate NextGen Documents with a particular clinical note. The configurable NextGen Documents are listed in the document list. Open the Document Mapping system template. In the Clinical Note Mapping panel, select NextGen Documents. To select a document, do the following. Click the Document Name arrow.The Document List window opens. Select the desired NextGen Document. Click OK. To select a visit type, do the following. Click the Visit Type (optional) arrow.The Visit Type window opens. Select the desired visit type. Click OK. To associate a clinical note, do the following: Click the Document LOINC Type arrow.The LOINC Type window opens. Select the desired Document LOINC Type. Remove NextGen Documents Associated Diagnostic Category
Open the Document Mapping system template. In Diagnostic Report Mapping, to remove a NextGen Document record, select the record from the grid. Click Remove.
