Associate LOINC® Codes with Procedure Code

On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select LOINC Codes.The existing data set items associated with the LOINC Codes data set appear in the grid. LOINC Codes data set Select Add.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup If applicable, select Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis.The associated diagnosis code automatically populates. If applicable, select Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider. In Code, enter LOINC code. In System, enter the code type. For example, LOINC to indicate that the code is LOINC code. In Procedure Code, enter CPT or NextGen Compendium Test keys. In Description, enter the description of the procedure code. Select Save, and then select Close.The newly configured data set item displays in the Data Sets Setup template. Note: To add another item, select Clear For Add in the Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template and repeat steps 1 and 2. Parent topic: LOINC Data

Add Test Code Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Test Codes.The existing data set items associated with the Test Codes data set appear in the grid. Test Codes data set Select Add.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup Select Test and select a name that the code or description will be mapped to from the picklist. The picklist displays the list of all test names currently available in the system. The name is used by the practice to identify an order, patient procedure, or lab. Select OK. Note: To enter a test name that is not listed, select the blank line that displays in the picklist and select OK. Type the name in the Test field. Enter one of the following: Codes - Enter the code to be mapped to. The entered code is used by the reference lab or outside study/procedure location to identify the test at their location for ordering or billing purposes. Edit CARD Procedure Orders Other Data Set Items

In the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Detail CARD Procedure Orders Other.The existing data set items associated with the CARD Procedure Orders Other data set appear in the grid. Highlight a grid to modify. Select Update.The Template Data Set Setup – [New Record] template opens. Make the necessary changes in the applicable fields. Select Save and then select Close. Add Patient Safety Report under the Patient Safety Reports Data Set

On the Patient Safety Report template, when you select Report Filter, a list appears with a list of Patient Safety Report appropriate for your current configuration and use of the system. If a patient safety defect is found and the data cannot be automatically changed, a report is available to review data that might need to be updated at your practice. Note: NextGen Healthcare does not recommend modifying the existing Patient Safety Report list on the Data Sets Setup template. On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Patient Safety Reports.The existing data set items associated with the Patient Safety Reports data set appear in the grid. CARD Procedure Orders Other Data Set

The CARD Procedure Orders Other data set enables you to create picklist values associated with each of the CARD IMProcedures picklist value. The NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine is packaged with the following CARD IMProcedures picklist values: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Amputation Endovascular Revascularization Soft Tissue Vascular Access Vein Surgery In the run-time Procedure Orders template, when you select the Others option and select the Description field, the CARD IMProcedures picklist appears. After you select a value from the CARD IMProcedures picklist, the Card Orders Plan Other template opens that enables to select the applicable Picklist 1, Picklist 2, and Picklist 3 values configured in the Data Sets Setup practice template.
