Open the
Additional Visit Information Config
template.
Select a specialty in the
Specialty
field.
To add a location, select a location in the
Location
field.
Expand the
Additional Visit Information
panel and do the following:
Select a category in the
Category
field.
Enter a question in the
Question
field.
Select a gender in the
Gender
field.
Select an age range.
Select the
Required
checkbox to indicate whether the question is required.
Select a field type in the
Field type
field.
The options that appear for the field types are determined by the type of answer entered.
If the
Picklist
option is selected in
Field type
, indicate
Value type
and enter values.
Select
Add
.
The entered information displays in the grid.

Update Additional Visit Information Categories
You can update the additional visit information categories as needed. Open the Additional Visit Information Config template. Expand the Additional Visit Information Categories panel. Enter a category name in the Category name field. Additional Visit Information Categories panel Select Add. The category name appears in the Category grid. The added category appears in the Category field list of the Additional Visit Information panel. Configure Categories, Questions and Answers for Addition Visit Information Template
The Additional Visit Information Config practice template enables practices to configure additional visit information. The Additional Visit Information Categories panel enables users to add, edit, and remove additional visit information categories as applicable. The Additional Visit Information template enables you to collect additional visit information information from patients. You can access the Additional Visit Information template from the Additional Screening link in the Pre-Procedure Care section of the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization procedure and the Family Planning Intake link in the Histories template. Open the Additional Visit Information Config Template
The Additional Visit Information template enables you to collect additional visit information from patients. You can access the Additional Visit Information template from the Additional Screening link in the Pre-Procedure Care section of the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization procedure. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select the All option.A list of practice level templates appears. Select Additional Visit Information Config.The Additional Visit Information Config template opens. Document Configurable Questionnaires
You can document the answers for the pre-configured questions on the Additional Visit Information template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Expand the General panel. Select the Configurable Questionnaires link.The Additional Visit Information template opens. Pre-configured questions on the Additional Visit Information template Select a specialty. In Selected Category, select a category from the list.The configured questions for the selected category appear in the Pre-configured questions for selected category(s) grid. You can select show all answered questions for the encounter checkbox to filter and view the questions that are answered. Configuring Additional Visit Information
The Additional Visit Information Config practice template provides instructions to practices to configure categories, questions, and answers for Additional Visit Information template. The data configured on the Additional Visit Information Config practice template appears in the Gynecology specialty templates. Other specialties can use this template but you need to configure a link in the sub-navigation panel for the Additional Visit Information template to be able to use it.
