Common Assessments
The Common Assessments practice template enables you to define common assessments that providers can quickly select on various NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The Common Assessments practice template is used to define and manage common and custom assessments for a specialty. In run time, the configured common assessments appear in the Common Assessment template that opens when you click the Add common assessment link on the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. In the Common Assessment template, the order of the common assessments is same as the order of the assessments configured in the Common Assessments practice template for the selected specialty. You can click the Common assessment field in the Common Assessment template to select a different common assessments group. The Common Assessments practice template has the following panels to configure common assessments: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links Manage Common Assessments Note: Template links must be updated in NextGen Temp

Common Assessment Practice Template
You can configure and manage common assessment sets on the Common Assessments practice template. It is used to create common diagnosis codes that can be used by any specialty. Access the Document Configuration Practice Template
From the File menu, select System\Practice Template. On the Select Template window, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All to see a complete list of practice templates. To access the Document Configuration template, do one of the following: Double-click Document Configuration. Select Document Configuration, and then click OK. Access the Custom Navigation Practice Template
From the File menu, select System\Practice Template. The Select Template list opens. Click the Practice tab. In the Show section, click the All option. A list of practice level templates opens.
