Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses

You must first add the category names in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel before applying the initial setup and building a plan. Note: The information icon provides instructions to use the template. Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel Open the Management Plan Setup template. In the Modify Categories section, on the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel, select the Category name field, and enter a new category name. Select Add. Modify Categories section In the Modify Management Plan Status section, select the Status name field, and enter the status name. Select one of the following options for the patient to default to the value entered when you open or close the medical record template: If you select the Default plan status on open option, then the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application message is flagged and appears in the Alerts panel or window that they have an active management plan that needs to be addressed or looked at during

Management Plan Setup

The Management Plan Setup practice template is designed to add detailed office follow up plans configured by the practice administration. The plans are then applied by providers to the individual patient charts either on chart review, or at the point of patient care. These configured plans also display in the Create new management plan panel in the Management Plans template. The Management Plan Setup template consists of three panels: Management Plan Configuration Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses Letter Generator Categories may need to be set up in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel. After adding the categories, you can configure a management plan in the Management Plan Configuration panel. Communication Using the System and Practice Templates

The Management Plan Setup and Management Plan Reporting practice templates are used for communication with the patients about abnormal findings and their follow-up. Open the Management Plan Setup Practice Template You can add detailed office follow-up plans for a patient. Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses You can add categories in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel on the Management Plan Setup template. Access Management Plan Reporting Template

A practice can customize the content that appears in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. This section provides access instructions for the Management Plan Reporting practice template. Log on to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System/Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. In the Show section, click the All option. A list of system templates displays in the Practice tab. Double-click Management Plan Reporting to access the Management Plan Reporting template.
