Search for Foster Care Bed

You can search for the preferred bed for your foster children. Open the CW Foster Dashboard (BH) template. CW Foster Dashboard (BH) Panel Enter values in the search criteria fields. To delete the value from a field, select the corresponding Cl button or select Clear All to delete all data. Select Search. The grid displays the records based on the search criteria. Open CW Foster Dashboard Template

You can view and track children with family units on the CW Foster Family Placement Dashboard template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. Select CW Foster Dashboard (BH), and select OK. The CW Foster Dashboard (BH) template opens. Child Welfare Foster Dashboard

You can easily view empty beds available for foster children, and continue to track the locations of each foster child within the program. CW Foster Dashboard(BH) Panel The CW Foster Dashboard (BH) template enables you to view the beds that are available for foster children. You can view the locations of the foster children within the Foster Care or Adoption Service program. The data of foster parents and children are entered in the Bed Placement Configuration panel on the CW Demographics (BH) template. The assignment of foster children to a specific bed and foster family is done on the CW Demographic (BH) template of the foster family, main participant. Note: The data grid on the CW Foster Dashboard template gets the available bed details from the extended data grid in the Bed Placement Configuration panel on the CW Demographics (BH) template. Assign Bed Placement Details

You can document the details of a family's foster placement. You can place a foster child with a family by assigning the child to a specific bed. The bed details entered in the Bed Placement Configuration panel appear in the grid. Note: You can enter data only when you are in the main participant's chart. Open the CW Demographics (BH) template. Expand the Bed Placement panel. Select a row in the grid for the bed you need to assign. The details of the record appear in the respective fields, and the Update button is enabled. Bed Placement Panel Note: Select Cl to delete the data from all fields. Select First Name or Last Name. The Family Unit Information window opens. Note: The foster child must be added to the Family Unit before assigning a bed. Select the foster child from the Family Unit, and select OK. Details of the foster child and Bed Status are filled in. Note: When the status of the bed is changed to Open, all person-related data are removed from the respective fields. That bed

Documenting Child Welfare Demographics

You can document participant information, program details, contact and location details, pharmacy, and relationship details on the CW Demographics (BH) template. The CW Demographics (BH) template panel details are documented. In most of the panels, you can update or remove the details added in the grid. Name of the panel What you can do Participant Information In this panel, the patient's details are displayed from the Patient's Demographic template, you can select Update to modify the information. You can select the state of birth, country of birth, race, and ethnicity of the participant. You can indicate if the foster child has pets that need to be brought to the foster home. The Family Unit Information grid shows information about the current members in the Family Unit. The Child Welfare program requires the family unit to include one family member as the main participant. You can document details about the training and group sessions that foster or adoptive parents attend. In a group encounter, select the templates Template Icon icon. The Select Template window opens. In the Group tab, under Show, select All. The list of group templates appears. Select Template Panel Select the CW Training and Group Note (BH) template, and then select OK.
