Sub-template Configuration

As a Practice administrator, you can insert your custom sub-template into specific BH Suite templates. Once configured in the new Sub Template Configuration (BH) system template, your custom content appears in the Agency Defined panel of the BH Suite template. You can configure the dynamic sub-template on the following templates: Brief Assessment (BH) Comp Assessment (BH) Integrated Service Plan (BH) Psych Eval (BH) Psych Progress Note (BH) Progress Note (BH) Contact Note (BH) Configure Sub-templates You can configure sub-templates to modify and customize the fields based on the configuration. Copy a Configuration for the BH Foundation Configuration Template

You can copy the configuration of BH Configuration panels to another program, practice, or location on the BH Foundation Configuration template. Open the BH Foundation Configuration template. Complete one of the following panels: Tabs & Sub Navigation Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration In the Copy To section, do one of the following: To copy a configuration to another program, select a Program from the list. To copy a configuration to another practice, select a Practice from the list. To copy this configuration to another location, select a Location from the list. CAUTION: When you use the Copy To function, all existing tabs, links, packets, and intake prescreens from the source destination overwrite items in the target destination. Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration

The Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration panel enables you to build program-specific landing pages for your staff. You can use landing pages to optimize practice workflow by grouping electronic health record content into a single page for easy reference. You can create separate landing pages for each program within the practice. You can configure templates and documents on a central landing page or homepage (Packet Navigation). There are three types of landing pages or packet navigation that you can configure. Packet enables you to create program-specific landing pages or home pages that contain commonly used templates and documents for the selected program. Intake Prescreen is generally used during your intake or admission process and contains templates and documents commonly used leading up to and during initial intake. You can use the system or practice templates to configure the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates based on your requirements. As a staff responsible for maintaining the configuration settings, you can configure various settings for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite to document patient encounters efficiently and meet your specific practice requirements. After configuring the settings for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite, you can update and maintain them as and when your business needs change. Configuring BH Foundation Settings You can use the BH Foundation Configuration system template to configure settings for the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates. Program Configuration You can use programs to configure payers, order of billed payers, provider or payer relationships to contracts, service location, client eligibility, and enrollment dates. Behavioral Health Content

You can configure the content during your initial project implementation with the guidance of your NextGen Healthcare project manager or architect. You must not modify the specific list of tables without consulting your NextGen Healthcare representative. For more information, contact your NextGen Healthcare representative or submit a Support case to NextGen Healthcare. You can use the following DB picklists in the corresponding templates. Location Type: used on the Transportation Bill (BH) template. The address details are automatically updated from the selected location type. Referral Status: used on the tis_Incoming_Referrals template. Regulatory Categories: used in the Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration panel on the BH Foundation Configuration template. ROI Contact: used on the Release of Info (BH) template for the To/From contact category. Miscellaneous Configurations for Templates

Configuration Name Configuration Details Default 'Goals Addressed Today' filter to Program on billing notes When selected, the default filter is set to Program for the Goals and Objectives Addressed Today filter. Enable Specialty/Visit Type to be configured by Program When selected, the Specialty and Visit type fields appear on the BH templates in the client’s chart according to the default values set on the BH Content panel. If the specialty or visit type for a client visit is different from the configured values in the BH Content panel, you can select Specialty or Visit Type . Note: The specialty and visit type are updated only once during the initial program selection. If you change the program after the initial selection, you must update the Specialty and Visit Type fields manually.
