Configuring BH Foundation Settings

You can use the BH Foundation Configuration system template to configure settings for the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates. The BH Foundation Configuration template is the central location for configuring settings for the Behavioral Health Suite templates. You can configure various elements of your BH content to accommodate your business workflow and requirements. Some items can be configured at the practice level, program level, for specific regulatory boards and in some instances, even for a specific location. You can configure different Tabs & Sub Navigation, Packet Configuration, and Intake Prescreen panels by the following: Program enables you to configure separate navigation and landing pages for each of your programs. Configuring NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite

You can use the system or practice templates to configure the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates based on your requirements. As a staff responsible for maintaining the configuration settings, you can configure various settings for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite to document patient encounters efficiently and meet your specific practice requirements. After configuring the settings for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite, you can update and maintain them as and when your business needs change. Configuring BH Foundation Settings You can use the BH Foundation Configuration system template to configure settings for the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates. Program Configuration You can use programs to configure payers, order of billed payers, provider or payer relationships to contracts, service location, client eligibility, and enrollment dates. Configure Sub-templates

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window appears with the system-related templates. Select All. The list of all the system templates appears. Select Sub Template Configuration (BH), and then select OK. Select Template Name, and then select the template from the list. Select the current sub-template from the list. Select New Sub Template, and then select the sub-template from the list. Note: The New Sub Template picklist shows the list of the custom sub-templates only. Optional: To edit the panel caption, enter the required caption. Select Apply. The sub-template is applied to the configured template. Note: When you configure a template with a sub-template, the template does not appear in the next new configuration. You can configure a template only once. Optional: To remove your custom sub-template from a configured template, select the record, and then select Restore. The sub-template configuration is removed from the associate

Client-defined Configuration

You can configure buttons to add in the sub-templates that can open a specific template or a document. As a Practice administrator, you can use the BH Client Defined panel on the BH Foundation Configuration template to configure custom buttons. You can insert the configured buttons on the sub-templates using the tis_sub_fields_btn_config option from the New Sub Template picklist on the Sub Template Configuration (BH) template.
