Document Patient Activities to Ensure a Safe Environment for the Patient

  1. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button.
    The Select Template window opens.
  2. On the Medical Records tab, select All.
  3. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK.
  4. Expand the Safe Environment panel, and enter a brief description of the patient's activities that contribute to maintaining a safe environment.
  5. To indicate whether the activities are currently relevant, select Active or Inactive.
  6. Select Add.
    The safety activity record appears in the grid.
  7. Optional: To filter the list of records in the grid, select the status in the Display status of field.
    The grid lists records with the selected status.
