Document Administration Details for the Patient's Residential Services

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates.
    The Select Template window opens.
  2. On the Medical Records tab, select All.
  3. Select Residential Administration (BH), and then select OK.
  4. Select the program, specialty, and visit type.
  5. Document the information about the patient's dependents.
  6. In the Permissions/Restrictions section of the Call/Visitor Authorization & Log panel, document the details about the individuals who are permitted and restricted from calling and visiting the patient in the residential facility.
  7. In the Log section of the Call/Visitor Authorization & Log panel, document all the visit and call details that the patient receives.
  8. Document the patient's possessions during admission on the Residential Personal Belongings (BH) template.
  9. In the Medications on Intake panel, document the medications the patient brings during admission.
  10. In the Client Tracking panel, document the patient's location within the facility.
  11. Document the required signature attestations for the patient's residential admission.
