Document Administration Details for the Patient's Residential Services
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates.
The Select Template window opens.
- On the Medical Records tab, select All.
- Select Residential Administration (BH), and then select OK.
Note: You can open the Residential Administration (BH) template from your Packet Navigation or from the Templates module. For more information on configuring Packet Navigation, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite.
- Select the program, specialty, and visit type.
Note: Only programs that the patient is actively enrolled in appear in the list. You can select <No Program> to create an encounter without a program, and then add the program later.
- Document the information about the patient's dependents.
- In the Permissions/Restrictions section of the Call/Visitor Authorization & Log panel, document the details about the individuals who are permitted and restricted from calling and visiting the patient in the residential facility.
- In the Log section of the Call/Visitor Authorization & Log panel, document all the visit and call details that the patient receives.
Note: The Name(s) field shows the list of only the individuals who have permission to call or visit the patient.
- Document the patient's possessions during admission on the Residential Personal Belongings (BH) template.
- In the Medications on Intake panel, document the medications the patient brings during admission.
- In the Client Tracking panel, document the patient's location within the facility.
- Document the required signature attestations for the patient's residential admission.
- Document the Patient's Personal Belongings
You can document the patient's personal belongings when they check in to a residential facility.
