Add a New Emergency Contact or Patient Relationship
Select Add. The Modify Patient Information window opens. Select the Relations/Role tab. In the Relations/Role section, select the Open Menu . Select New. The Relationship Lookup window opens. Do one of the following: To link to someone already in the system, search for the person and then select Open. To enter a new person, enter the person’s information and then select New. Emergency Contact/Patient Relationship/Support Roles
The Emergency Contact/Patient Relationship/Support Role panel enables you to add emergency contact and support role information that would play a role in the patient’s treatment. The data you enter into the Emergency Contacts/Patient Relationship data grids display in the Patient Information screens. The Support Resources data displays in the data grids that display in the Individuals Present panel on clinical templates. Document Insurance Details for an Incoming Referral
From the Tis Incoming Referrals window, select the Incoming Referrals tab. Expand the Insurance Info panel. Referral Insurance Panel Enter the insurance details in the respective fields. Note: Link your entry to the referral using the picklists from the Ref Date and Ref Program fields. Select Add. The information appears in the grid. Note: If you select Save from the top toolbar, the window saves and closes. To avoid closing the template between each tab completion, select the next tab. The information is saved when added to the grid. Optional: To update information, select the item in the grid, make the required modifications, and then select Update. Optional: To delete existing information in the grid, select the item in the grid, and then select Delete Row. Optional: To send tasks to a staff member or group, select Task. Document Referral Contact
You can document contact details of the incoming referrals. From the Tis Incoming Referrals window, select the Referral Contact Appt Scheduling tab. Expand the Contact panel. Referral Contact Panel Enter contact details in the respective fields. Note: Link your entry to the referral using the picklists from the Ref Date and Ref Program fields. Select Add. The information appears in the grid. Note: If you select Save from the top toolbar, the window saves and closes. To avoid closing the template between each tab completion, select the next tab. Document Individuals Present
In the Individuals Present panel, select from one of the Contact Type options. Select one of the following in the Individuals present section: Individual not present Individual present Select Others present and enter the details in the Support Resources section. In the Support Resources section, record the client's closest friends and relatives. To add the support resources data in the grid, click Add. To change the grid view, select All or Active. The Effective and End dates determine if a resource is Active. Document Incoming Referrals
You can document referral details for the incoming referrals. From the Tis Incoming Referrals window, select the Incoming Referrals tab. Incoming Referrals window Expand the Referrals panel. Referrals panel Enter the referral details in the respective fields. Note: The Referral Date and Program fields link future documentation to this referral. Select Add.The referral information appears in the grid. Optional: To update an existing referral, select the item in the grid, make the required modifications, and then select Update. Optional: To delete an existing referral, select the item in the grid, and then select Delete Row. Note: If you delete a row in the Referrals panel, you must manually delete the remaining information from the Insurance Info, Contact, Appointment, and Documents panels that refer to the deleted referral.
