Using the Local Certificate Authority
To resolve an issue with a mismatched certificate name, update the new values for the certificate on the Appliance SSL Certificate window. You can specify a new:

 - Appliance (Host) Name
 - Organization
 - Organizational Unit
 - City or Locality
 - State or Province
 - Country

The Appliance (Host) Name field name must match the DNS name referenced by the remote side of the SSL connection. Select Update after any change is made to re-sign the local certificate with the built-in certificate authority. This process replaces the existing SSL certificate.
If the remote side of the SSL connection complains about not trusting the appliance certificate authority, you can send them a copy of your CA certificate. They should be able to load this certificate into their software to establish you as a trusted source. To display this certificate, on the Appliance SSL Certificate window, select the Show_Cert link on the line that reads “This certificate is signed by: …”. You can copy the certificate for distribution.
