Step 3: Generate a License Validation Request

Launch the Mirth® Connect by NextGen Healthcare Administrator, and go to the Settings > License tab. Set the Validation Type to Offline, and select the Generate License Validation Request button. Step 2: Enter your License Key

Open the mirth.properties file in a text editor. It is located in the conf folder in your Mirth® Connect installation folder. On a new line, add an entry named license.key whose value is your license key. It should look like this:license.key = 194004b0162b4c3e8e9ac91a04ced23b-61fcea526ae9fc17f518c97a6f4e0822-14fe7fc64602bc7dce3d0529a292574a-6cfba515ccd495b86766044ff811b3v2 Save the file, and then restart the Mirth® Connect server. Offline Validation

Mirth® Connect by NextGen Healthcare will not contact our license server at all, instead the validation data is embedded directly into mirth.properties and the server will check that data upon startup. No internet or proxy access is needed with this method. However, if there are any changes to your license such as the expiration date (renewals), support tier (for example changing from Enterprise to Gold), or your machine fingerprint changes, it will require you to go through this validation process again manually.
