Step 1: Obtain Your License Key

Contact your sales account manager or help desk to obtain your license key. Make sure not to save this locally or share it with anyone, as it uniquely identifies your license. Step 7: Restart your Mirth® Connect by NextGen Healthcare Server

After restarting you can go back to the Settings > License tab and check the status and expiration date of your license: License Tab in the Settings View Parent topic: Offline Validation

Step 3: Generate a License Validation Request

Launch the Mirth® Connect by NextGen Healthcare Administrator, and go to the Settings > License tab. Set the Validation Type to Offline, and select the Generate License Validation Request button. Copy the text within the window that appears. You do not need to enter your license key here when offline validation is used. License Validation Request Window Parent topic: Offline Validation

Step 2: Enter your License Key

Open the mirth.properties file in a text editor. It is located in the conf folder in your Mirth® Connect installation folder. On a new line, add an entry named license.key whose value is your license key.
