When an address is automatically updated from the Change of Address Update process, a message is recorded in the demographic history for the person or patient.
From the Lookup button on the main toolbar, search and select the desired person or patient.
The Modify Person Information or Update Patient Information window opens.
The current address displays in the Demographics > Address section.
From the navigation pane on the left, click History.
If the address was updated from the Change of Address Update process, an entry is listed in the Person History section with the following information:
Date/Time: The date and time the update process was run.
Creator: The name of the user who ran the update process.
Description: Address Changed Via "Change of Address Update" Process.
Old Information: The address prior to the update process.
New Information: The address after the update process.
To close the window, click Cancel.
Note: If the Address Changed Via "Change of Address Update" Process event is enabled in Significant Event Preferences, a message is also recorded in the guarantor's Account Profile > Notes tab, or the patient's Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.
