Access the
Patient Chart
for the desired patient.
Select the
Clinical History/Notes
tab.
From the
Topics
list, expand the
Letters
folder, and then select on the
Appt Reminders
folder.
The section on the right displays the
Date/Time
,
Creator
,
Letter Name
, and
Description
for each appointment reminder letter that has been archived.
Double-click to open the desired letter.
The
Letter Preview
window opens.
Archived letters cannot be reprinted. Therefore, the
Print Dialog
and
Quick Print
buttons are not available on the letter preview toolbar.
When finished viewing, select the
Close Preview
button on the letter preview toolbar.

Create an Archived Appointment Reminder Letter
Do one of the following: Print an Individual Appointment Reminder Letter Print or Export Batch Appointment Reminder Letters After selecting the Print or Export button, the following prompt displays: Did the letter(s) print/export correctly? Do one of the following: If the letters printed or exported correctly, select Yes. An image of each appointment reminder letter is now archived in the Patient Chart, on the Clinical History/Notes tab, in the Letters folder. Archiving Appointment Reminder Letters
Appointment reminder letters can be archived when they are printed or exported so that an image of a letter is stored and available for viewing in the Patient Chart. Once a letter has been archived, the image can be viewed, but it cannot be reprinted or deleted. Note: Appointment Reminder letters have a Reset Print Date option that can be used in the event a batch of letters needs to be reprinted or exported. If a batch is reset and then reprinted/exported, the original archived letter image is removed and no longer stored. Only the new image resulting from the reprint/export is stored and available for viewing. Access the Patient Chart for the desired patient. Select the Clinical History/Notes tab. From the Topics list, expand the Letters folder, and then select on the Recalls folder. The section on the right displays the Date/Time, Creator, Letter Name, and Description for each recall letter that has been archived. Double-click to open the desired letter.
