Start to Work on a Task

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Select Tasks > Worklog Manager or from the main toolbar select the Worklognull button.
    The Enterprise Worklog Manager window opens.
  3. Enter the necessary search criteria, and then select Find to display the task list.
    If you want to open the tasks specifically assigned to you as a user, you can select the My Tasks button on the Enterprise Worklog Manager window, or you can access them through the Tasks section of the Advisor window.
  4. Select and double-click the desired task or right-click the task, and then select Open.
    The Edit Task window opens for the task you want to update.

  5. From the Task Info tab, select the down arrow in the Status field, and then select In Progress.
  6. Select the calendar button to select a start date or follow-up date.
  7. Select the Instructions tab and begin following the instructions for the task.
  8. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
