Set Scheduling Preferences for Multi View

On the Multi View tab, you can establish which resources you can schedule. You can set the order of the resources on the multi-view Appointment Book, and also specify how many resources to display at one time.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > Scheduling.
    The Appointment Scheduling Preferences window opens.
  3. Select the Multi View tab.
  4. Under Multi-View Groups, select Open Menu , and then select New.
    The New Multi-View Group window opens.
  5. Enter a name for the new multi-view group, and then select OK.
    The group name appears in the Multi-View Groups field.
  6. In the Resource Selection/Order list, select the resources to be a part of this multi-view group.
    To change the list order of the resources, select a resource, and then select promote or demote to move the resource up or down.
    The selected resources appear in the Multi-View of the Appointment Book.
  7. Select the group in the Default multi-view group field that you want to use as the default when users initially open the appointment book.
  8. Select the maximum number of resources to appear on dialog boxes.
  9. If you want event colors to appear in the scheduled slots of the Weekly Schedule and Multi-View tabs of the Appointment Book, select the Display event color in scheduled slots check box.
  10. To save the changes and close the window, select OK.
To rename or delete a group:
  • Select the group in the Multi-View Groups field.
  • Select the open menu button, and then select Rename or Delete.
