Send to Patient Portal field in the Estimate Patient Cost Window and Patient Chart

The Send To Patient Portal field has been added in the Estimate Patient Cost and Patient Chart windows to send the cost estimation form to NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal.

You can send the cost estimation form in the patient chart by selecting the Estimation Results and then selecting the Send To Patient Portal option in the Clinical History/ Notes tab.

The Patient Amount column has been added in the Service Items section on the Estimate Patient Cost window. The Patient Amount column reflects the correct total patient responsibility amount by adding the Copay, Coinsurance, Deductible, and Non-Covered service items. To modify the Patient Amount column, you must modify one of the applicable columns used to calculate the patient amount for the service line.

In the Estimate Patient Cost report, Est Svc Pat Amt column name and Estimate Service Item Patient Amount description has been added in the SubColumn Configuration Options. Est Svc Pat Amt displays the data from the Patient Amount column for the service line.

The new Send Forms to Patient Portal window has been created to send cost estimation forms to NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal. You can open the Send Forms to Patient Portal window when you select Send to Patient Portal from the Patient Chart or Estimate Patient Cost window.

The following fields have been added to the Send Forms to Patient Portal window:
  • Forms Enhanced: The Forms Enhanced tab has been added to display enhanced forms available for selection.
  • Select/Deselect All: The Select/Deselect All button has been added to select and clear cost estimation forms from the form group.
  • Send: The Send button has been added to send cost estimation forms to NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal.
  • Cancel: The Cancel button has been added to cancel cost estimation forms from being sent to NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal.
