Reconciliation Reports

Click the Reconciliation Report tab. The Reconciliation Report tab appears. In the Request Report section, select the month in the Create Month field. Click Submit Request. A request is sent to the NextGen® Eligibility Verification server and the NextGen® Background Business Processor to generate the report. You must have the Eligibility Verification reconciliation report response job set up in the NextGen® Background Business Processor. Use the BBP Manager to import the report from the server. Select status in the Status field to view the submitted reports. Select an option in the Create Month field. You can leave the status field blank. The 1 Month Back option is recommended unless you need to select a longer time period for auditing purposes. Click Find to display the results. To view the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, click Reports, click General, and then click Eligibility Referral Reconciliation. Eligibility Verification Benefit Report

Use the Eligibility Verification Benefit report to view patient benefit information. In addition, use the report to flag and view responses with Fiscal Intermediary (FI) or other replacement plans. This report is not available for Legacy reporting. Since it is an enhanced report there it is no asterisk ‘*’ mark against the report name. In addition, no configurations are required in preferences to differentiate between a Legacy and Enhanced report. Claim Request Reports

The Acknowledgment Status and Claim Status Category columns can be included on the report to include results from 997 and 277/277u transactions submitted to payers using NextGen Eligibility Verification. Eligibility Referral Reconciliation Report

The Eligibility Referral Reconciliation report is available if your system is licensed for NextGen Eligibility Verification. You can use the report to reconcile your monthly invoices to the number of inquiry transactions submitted to payers from NextGen® Enterprise PM. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the User Guide for NextGen® Eligibility Verification Report configuration and filter options include Create Date, Status, Inquiry Type, Response Status and Primary Payer. Eligibility Verification Benefit Report

The Eligibility Verification Benefit report is available if your system is licensed for NextGen Eligibility Verification. You can use the report to view benefit information returned by payers for patients that had an eligibility request submitted from NextGen® Enterprise PM. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the User Guide for NextGen® Eligibility Verification Report configuration and filter options include Request Date, Response Date, Service Type, Insurance Type, and Payer. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports > General and then select Eligibility Verification Benefit. Note: This report uses enhanced reporting functionality.
