Patient Group Search Criteria

You can use the following Search Criteria on the Patient Group Search window to find specific patient groups. Field Description Group Name To find patient groups by Group Name, enter all or part of the name. An asterisk can be used as a wild card character. For example: *abc: Finds names that start with any letter(s) followed by abc Ab*c: Finds names that start with Ab followed by any letter(s) followed by c Abc*: Finds names that start with Abc followed by any letter(s) Location To find patient groups by Location, select one or more locations from the list. When multiple locations are selected, patient groups matching any one of those locations are included in the search results. Note: The list includes locations that have the Display in Scheduling check box selected in the Locations master file in File Maintenance. Clinicians(s)/Facilitator(s) To find patient groups by Clinicians/Facilitators, select one or more providers from the list. When multiple providers are selected, patient g

Navigating the Patient Group Search Window

You can navigate through the Patient Group Search window by pressing the Tab key to move forward to the next field, or by pressing the Shift and Tab keys to move back to the previous field. You can also navigate to a specific button on the window by using a hot-key command. Press the Alt key to display an underlined letter on all buttons. The underlined letters are the hot-key commands. Then press Alt and a Letter to navigate to that specific button. For example, pressing Alt and F navigates to the Find button. Hot-Key Commands Alt + Navigates to: L Clear button F Find button N New button O Open button C Close button The default sort for records listed in the Matching Records section at the bottom of the window is ascending order by Group Name. You can change the sort by selecting any column header to resort the records by that column in ascending or descending order. In addition, you can rearrange and resize any column. Search for a Patient Group

Access Patient Groups.The Patient Group Search window opens. Enter search criteria to find the desired patient groups. Multiple parameters can be used. For example, you can enter all or part of the Group Name, select a Location and select a Day of the Week. Select Find. Patient groups that match all search criteria entered are listed in the Matching Records section at the bottom of the window. For multi-select search criteria, patient groups that match any of the criteria are listed. For example, if your search criteria included Locations X, Y and Z, and Clinicians/Facilitators A, B and C, and Days of the Week Tue, Wed and Thu, the search results lists any patient group at location X, Y or Z for clinicians A, B or C that meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. If no search criteria were entered, all patient groups are listed except those that are expired, hidden or inactive. View Future Group Appointments for a Patient Group

The Appointments tab on the Patient Group window enables you to view future group appointments scheduled for the group. The tab is view only and changes cannot be made from this tab. Access Patient Groups.The Patient Group Search window opens. Search for a Patient GroupFrom the Matching Records section of the Patient Group Search window, select a group and then do one of the following: Select Open. Select Open Menu and select Open. Right-click and select Open. The Patient Group window opens. Select the Appointments tab. The Scheduled Group Appointments section lists future appointments for the group in ascending order by date and time. The following information displays for each appointment listed: Date/Time Event Resource Location To change the default sort by Date/Time, select a column header. The Show Next field defaults to 5. To view fewer or more future appointments for the group, enter a value between 1 and 25 and then select Refresh results. The tab refreshes and the Scheduled G
