Configure Payer Filter

The Payer filter enables you to define the criteria to narrow down the data by payer name in the Claim Status report. Open the Configuration Options list for the Claim Status report and select Payer. The Payer window opens. To select specific filter items, click the folder icon. The item selection window opens. To add filter items, select the items in the Available section, and then click the right arrow button to move the items to the Included section. To remove filter items, select the items in the Included section, and then click the left arrow button to move the items to the Available section. Click OK. To exclude data from the report that match the selected filter items, select the Exclude ALL data equal to the selected records check box. To clear the selected filter items, click Clear All. Configure Filter 2

The Filter 2 configuration enables you to use columns as additional filter criteria to narrow down the data in a Claim Status report. Only the data that match all the defined criteria appear in the report. Open the Configuration Options list for the Claim Status report and select Filter 2. The Filter 2 window opens. Select a column, then select one of the following operators for the column, and then enter the specific free-text criteria for the column. For example, Trace Id. To generate the report using the current configuration options, selectRefresh Report. To memorize or save the current configuration options for the report, selectSave Report Options. Configure Provider Filter

The Provider filter enables you to define the criteria to narrow down the data by provider name in the Claim Status report. Open the Configuration Options list for the Claim Status report and select Provider. The Provider window opens. To select specific filter items, click the folder icon. The item selection window opens. To add filter items, select the items in the Available section, and then click the right arrow button to move the items to the Included section. To remove filter items, select the items in the Included section, and then click the left arrow button to move the items to the Available section. Click OK. Configure Totals

The Totals configuration enables you to display the sum, average, count, and total of the data in the Claim Status report. Open the Configuration Options list and select Totals. The Totals window opens. Select a column, and then select one of the following check boxes for the column. SUM AVERAGE COUNT TOTALS You can modify the Report Total Caption. The caption appears in front of the grand total at the end of the report. The default value is TOTAL. You can also modify the Sub Total Prefix. It appears in front of the total for each grouping throughout the report. The default value is Totals for. To display the report without details, select the Total Lines Only check box. The report displays only a subtotal line for each grouping in the report, and a grand total line at the end of the report. To display the number of data records in the report, select the Counts Records check box. The number of records appears in parenthesis on the subtotal line for each grouping throughout the report,

Configure Sorting

The Sorting configuration enables you to use columns to sort and group the data in the Claim Status report. Open the Configuration Options list for the Claim Status report and select Sorting. The Sorting window opens. To modify the sorting options for the report, select a column, and then select one of the following check boxes for the column. Ascending: To sort numerical data from lowest to highest, and alphabetical data from A to Z. Descending: To sort numerical data from highest to lowest, and alphabetical data from Z to A. To group data on the report by a selected column, click the Group By check box. To set the order of the selected columns, for example, primary sort or secondary sort, select a column and then use the arrow buttons to change the position of the column. Configure Header and Footer for an Enhanced Report

The Header/Footer configuration enables you to format the header, footer, and last page addendum for a report. Open the Configuration Options list for or the desired enhanced report, and then select Header/Footer. In the Configuration Options list on the left, select Header/Footer.The Header/Footer window opens. Note: The Header/Footer options available for selection are the same on all reports. Modify the Header, Footer, and Addendum options as needed for the report. Do one of the following: To further customize the report, select the filter from the Configuration Options list. To generate the report using the current configuration options, select Refresh Report. To memorize or save the current configuration options for the report, select Save Report Options.
