You can assign a daily template to a resource's calendar.
- In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select .
Note: When you select the
Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in
Practice Preferences window, the
Scheduling Admin option on the
Admin menu displays the following two options:
The Scheduling Administration window opens.
- Select the Resources tab.
- From the list, select the Resource to assign the templates.
- Select the open menu
button and select Open.
The Edit Resource window opens.
- In the Templates section, select Daily Templates. This defines the type of templates that can be applied to the resource.
This defines the type of templates that you can apply to the resource.
Note: To change the template type for an existing resource, you must clear all the templates that are applied to any part of the calendar. For example, to change from daily templates to weekly templates, all daily templates must be cleared from the resource's calendar. The template type can then be changed for the resource.
- Select the Templates button.
The Assign daily templates window opens.
- Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the window to display the calendar for the desired year.
- Select a template from the Available daily templates section.
Note: The daily templates with time intervals that are compatible with the resource's time interval are listed and available for selection.
- Select the days on the calendar, and do one of the following to apply the template:
- Select a specific day to highlight that day.
Note: You can select multiple days of the month.
- Select the month to highlight all the weeks in that month (for example, March 2016).
- Select the year to highlight all weeks in the year (for example, 2016).
Note: To remove days from the selection, select the day, day of the month, month or year again.
- Select the Apply button.
If the Prompt to defer sched admin changes until nightly process option is selected in the Appt Scheduling tab of the Practice Preferences window, a message appears asking if you want to update the appointment search engine.
Note:
- Select Yes to update the appointment search ahead function.
- Select No to postpone updates to the appointment search ahead function until tonight.
The selected template is applied to the selected weeks, and each week displays the template color.
- Repeat steps 7 through 10 to apply other daily templates to additional days.
- Select Close to close the Assign Daily Templates window.
- Select OK to close the Edit Resource window.
Note: You can assign multiple templates to one or more weeks on the resource's calendar.
The tab displays the Max Template Date for the resource.
