Add or Modify a Statement Library

Libraries can be created for a specific financial class or a specific payer. These libraries are linked to financial classes in the Statement Parameter Mappings master file.
  1. Open File Maintenance and select Libraries > Statement.
    The Statement Library List window opens.
  2. Select the open menu button and then select New
    The Statement Library window opens.
  3. Enter a library name and then select one of the following:
    • Dunning messages by Aging: Select when Statement Messages in the library are based on the age of the outstanding insurance balance.
    • Dunning messages by Statement Counter: Select when Statement Messages in the library are based on the statement counter (the number of statements previously sent) for the outstanding insurance balance.
  4. In the Nbr of Columns field, select the number of columns needed for the library being defined.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Enter the number of days in each Aging Category column heading.
    • Enter the number of statements in each Statement Counter Category column heading. The last column heading displays > to indicate statements greater than the previous column. This column heading cannot be modified.
  6. In Statement Messages, select the appropriate statement message for each Aging Category or Statement Counter Category column.
