Unhide an Event

If you hide an event by mistake, you can unhide it. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Events tab. Select the Include Hidden Items option. Select the hidden event that you want to unhide. Right-click and select Hide from the menu. Hide an Event

If you hide an event, the event is no longer available for selection in NextGen® Enterprise PM. For example, a specific procedure is no longer performed in the practice, and therefore appointments should no longer be scheduled for that event. If an event is hidden, all existing appointments for the event are retained. Therefore, they remain in a patient’s appointment history and are still available for appointment reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Events tab. Select the event to be hidden. Right-click and select Hide. A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to hide the event. Select Yes to hide the event. Print an Event

In NextGen® Enterprise PM select Admin > Scheduling Administration. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. On the Events tab, select the event that you want to print. Right-click and select Print. The NextGen Report Filter: Event Listing window opens. Note: The report has the following options: Columns Filter 2 Sort Totals Select OK on the report. The Event Listing report opens with the following details of the events. Add or Modify an Event

The Add Event or Edit Event window includes general information about the event in the section at the top, and tabs for more specific information about the event at the bottom. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Events tab. Do one of the following: To add an event, select the open menu button and select New. To modify an event, select an event in the list, select the open menu button and select Open. The Add Event or Edit Event window opens. In the Event field, enter a name for the event. The name appears on the Add Appointment or Edit Appointment window in the Event or Event Chain field when you schedule an appointment for the event. It also appears on scheduled appointments in the Appointment Book > D

View Hidden Enterprise Events

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Scheduling Administration > > Enterprise Scheduling Administration. The Enterprise Scheduling Administration window opens. On the Enterprise Events tab, select the Include Hidden Items option The hidden items are indicated with the Hide icon on the left. The hidden enterprise events appear in the list of enterprise events. To remove the hidden enterprise events from the list, clear the Include Hidden Items option. Events Tab - Sched Admin

On the Events tab, you define the various types of appointments that will be scheduled for patients in the practice. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in the Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Administration window name changes to Practice Scheduling Administration. Existing events are listed on the tab with the following information: Event: Name of the event. Short: Short description for the event (1 - 3 characters). Duration: Default duration for the event, in minutes. Color: Background color defined for the event. The following options are available from the open menu button, or the right-click menu: New: To create a new event. Open: To open an existing event. Hide: To hide or unhide an existing event.
