View Existing Appointments from Patient Chart

Before you begin

To view the Patient Information Bar on the Patient Chart do one of the following:
  • Open Admin > Practice Preferences.
  • From the list of preferences, select Patient Information Bar.
  • Select the PM tab.
  • Select the Show Patient Information Bar option.
  • Select OK.
or
  • Open Admin > User Preferences > General.
  • Select the Chart tab.
  • select the Show Patient Information Bar option.
  • Select OK.

You can view existing appointments for a patient from the Patient Information Bar or the Clinical History/Notes tab of the Patient Chart window.

  1. Open the Patient Chart.
  2. On the Patient Information Bar, do one of the following:
    • Hover over the Appointment button, to view the Date/Time, Event, Location, Status and Resource for past and future appointments.
    • To access all appointments for the patient, select Appointment The Appointments topic on the Clinical History/Notes tab in the Patient Chart opens.
  3. To view all appointments for the patient, do one of the following:
    • Select the Appointment button on the Patient Information Bar.
    • From the list of topics in the Clinical History/Notes tab, select the Appointments topic.
    The existing appointments for the patient appears in the Details section.
