Enable nine character procedure codes	Select this option to allow 9-digit procedure codes for paper claims.
Populate claim patient control fields (HCFA Box 26, UB92 Field Loc 3, ADA Box 61) with claim-specific Claim Number instead of Practice ID & Encounter Nbr	Select this option to print the Claim Number instead of the patient control number on all claim forms.
CMS Standard Font (Times New Roman)	Select this option to change the default font of Arial to the CMS approved font of Times New Roman. After you make this selection, claims will display and print in the following font and size: UB04 (2004) - Times New Roman 9-point ADA (2024) - Times New Roman 9-point CMS 1500 (2024) - Times New Roman 10-point Note: Times New Roman is a CMS approved font. OCR devices can easily read this font and it may decrease the number of claims that are rejected due to OCR misreads.

CMS 1500 (2005) Options

Field CMS 1500 (2005) Options Description Common Rules Tab About Field Prefixes Fields can have a prefix of UCase, LTrim, RTrim, or Trim. All fields with a prefix of: UCase - display in upper case LTrim - all leading spaces are removed RTrim - all trailing spaces are removed Trim - all leading and trailing spaces are removed Do not print payer address on CMS Select this option to prevent the payer address from printing on the CMS form. Payer Name at top of form Select one of the following Payer Name format options: Blank Payer Alias Payer Alias - Upper Case Payer Name Payer Name - Upper Case Use Contents of Box 19 Print payer address in old location Select this option to print the address in the upper-right corner of the form. Print page numbers on multiple page claims Select this option to print the page numbers in the format of Page XX of YY at the top of multiple page claims. Set Up Claim Print Options for All Payers

The Common Rules tab lists the Claim Printing options that apply to all payers. In File Maintenance, select Libraries > Claim Printing. The Claim Printing List window opens. Select the applicable library or select open menu and select New. The Claim Printing window opens, displaying the Common Rules tab. Select the claim type in the 1500 Claims, UB Claims, or the ADA Claims fields. Select the settings for the print options in the Option and Setting columns you want to use and then select OK. Claim Print Options in Claim Printing Library

The Claim Printing window displays the claim print options based on the paper claims and the payer type you select. The following paper claims appear in the Claim Printing library: 1500 Claims enables you to select CMS 1500 (2005) or CMS 1500 (2012) claim form. The options for the form you select appear under 1500 in the Option column. UB Claims enables you to select UB04 (2004) or UB92 (1992) claim form. The options for the form you select appear under UB in the Option column. ADA Claims enables you to select ADA (2019) or ADA (2024) claim form. The options for the form you select appear under ADA in the Option column. ADA (2024) is the default claim form when you set up a new Claim Printing library.
