Generate a Threshold Tracking Report for Programs

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Reports menu, select General and then select Threshold Tracking. The Threshold Tracking - Enhanced Report Mode window opens. From the Configuration Options list, select columns, filters and sorting for the report. To generate the report, select Refresh Report. The Threshold Tracking report opens. Note: By default, the report groups the data based on the encounter-level payer. The patients that are enrolled in the threshold program but do not have any encounter for the selected time period, appear as <unknown> in the Threshold Tracking report. Create Tasks from the Threshold Tracking Report

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. Generate a Threshold Tracking report. The report appears on screen. From the report toolbar, select Tasks . The Add Tasks from Report window opens. In the Task Type field, select the task to be created for each encounter on the report. In the Assigned To field, select the users the tasks will be assigned to. Enter additional information for the tasks as needed. To save changes and close the window, select OK. The following prompt displays for encounters on the report that do not have an existing open task: n source(s) on this report do not have an open task of this type assigned. Confirm mass creation of n task(s). The following prompt displays for encounters on the report that do have an existing open task: n source(s) on this report already have an open task of this type assigned. Threshold Tracking Report

The Threshold Tracking report in NextGen® Enterprise PM provides information about patient encounters linked to programs that have payer-specific threshold rules defined in File Maintenance. You can use the report to review and monitor patients with or without encounters during a specified date range to determine whether they have met the payer's threshold requirements and are ready for billing. For example, in a Behavioral Health practice, a payer may require that patients in a specific program have a minimum number of addiction counseling hours per week, or a minimum number of therapy units per month before billing the payer for those services. This encounter-based report is available only if the Enable Programs option is selected in Practice Preferences > Programs. The report has drill-down functionality that enables you to double-click an encounter to access the Patient Chart > Encounters tab directly from the report. Creating Tasks

Tasks can be created in three ways: Manually Automatically Mass generated from a report For more information on creating Task Types in File Maintenance, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the File Maintenance Master Files Guide for NextGen Enterprise. Create Tasks from the Consolidated Services Claim Report

Work log Tasks can be manually created and assigned to users in batch mode from the Consolidated Services Claim report. A task is created for each encounter listed on the report that does not already have an existing open task. Note: Tasks to be created from the report must be set up in the Tasks Types master file with Source Type = Encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Run the Consolidated Services Claim process for one or more encounters. The Consolidated Services Claim report opens. Select the Assign Tasks button on the report toolbar. The Add Tasks from Report window opens. Select the Task Type and Assigned To users for the new tasks. Enter additional information for the tasks as needed. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Work log Tasks can be manually created and assigned to users in batch mode from the Anesthesia Concurrency Audit report and the Anesthesia Contractual Analysis report. A task is created for each encounter listed on the report that does not already have an existing open task.
