Tasking from the Threshold Tracking Report

Work log tasks can be manually created and assigned to users in batch mode from the Threshold Tracking report in NextGen® Enterprise PM. A task is created for each encounter listed on the report that does not already have an existing open task. The Task Types to be used with this encounter-based report must be set up in File Maintenance with the Source Type set to Encounter. Generate a Threshold Tracking Report for Programs

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Reports menu, select General and then select Threshold Tracking. The Threshold Tracking - Enhanced Report Mode window opens. From the Configuration Options list, select columns, filters and sorting for the report. To generate the report, select Refresh Report. The Threshold Tracking report opens. Note: By default, the report groups the data based on the encounter-level payer. The patients that are enrolled in the threshold program but do not have any encounter for the selected time period, appear as <unknown> in the Threshold Tracking report. Threshold Tracking Report

The Threshold Tracking report in NextGen® Enterprise PM provides information about patient encounters linked to programs that have payer-specific threshold rules defined in File Maintenance. You can use the report to review and monitor patients with or without encounters during a specified date range to determine whether they have met the payer's threshold requirements and are ready for billing. For example, in a Behavioral Health practice, a payer may require that patients in a specific program have a minimum number of addiction counseling hours per week, or a minimum number of therapy units per month before billing the payer for those services. This encounter-based report is available only if the Enable Programs option is selected in Practice Preferences > Programs. The report has drill-down functionality that enables you to double-click an encounter to access the Patient Chart > Encounters tab directly from the report.
