NextGen® Email

You can view email statistics for the current user. The statistics shown are Real-Time and are updated when the Advisor window is refreshed. NextGen® Mail statistics include: Unread: Total NextGen Mail messages for the current user that have not yet been read Pending Action: Total NextGen Mail messages for the current user that have an appointment in Pending status linked to the mail Note: Select the Unread link to access the NextGen Mailbox window. Appointments

This section displays appointment statistics for the current practice. The statistics shown are Real-Time and are updated when the Advisor window is refreshed. You can view letter statistics for the current practice. Statistics shown are As of Last Night and are updated when the nightly Advisor Update Process runs. You can view statement and invoice statistics for the current practice. The statistics shown are As of Last Night and are updated when the nightly Advisor Update Process runs. Statement/Invoice statistics include: Pending Statements: Total statements (including budget statements) to be processed (printed or exported) and the total patient balance on those statements Pending Invoices: Total invoices to be processed (printed) in Pending status and the total charges on those invoices Parent topic: Sections Displayed on the Advisor

Hyperlink and Messages

You can create a custom Hyperlink to display in the upper-left corner of the Advisor window. This provides a way for users in the practice to easily access a website of your choice. The hyperlink is created in Practice Preferences > General and you can set it up to display the URL for a website (e.g. www.nextgen.com) or specific text for the URL (e.g. NextGen Healthcare Website). The Messages section of the Advisor window displays a custom message that you create to notify users about practice-specific information. This message is also created in Practice Preferences > General.
