Create an Enterprise Batch Grouping
You can create transaction batch grouping using Enterprise Batch Grouping feature in NextGen® Enterprise PM. streamline transaction entry and batch balancing by using enterprise batch grouping. Enterprise batch groups are comprised of transaction batches from multiple practices within an enterprise. They enable users to enter, balance, and post transactions from multiple practices. In the Batch Posting window, you can create a batch grouping by selecting which practices the application creates transaction batches for. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting . The Batch Posting window opens. Select open menu icon, select New, and then select Enterprise Batch Grouping. The Enterprise Batch Grouping Maintenance window opens. Enter the enterprise batch grouping description, and the date fields. In the Practice section, select the practices to include in the batch grouping. To subgroup the transactions into an appropriate category, select the value from Transaction

Post and Review Transactions in the Batch Header
You can post a batch after all the transactions are added and the batch header record is balanced. In NextGen Healthcare posting a transaction permanently records the transaction which cannot be modified or deleted. You must use a correcting transaction to reverse any transaction posted in error. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting Posting Button. The Batch Posting window opens. In the Batch Posting window, select the batch header to post. Select open menu , and select Post. A message appears asking you for a confirmation to post the batch, and its associated transactions. Select OK. The Batch Listing report preview opens, and a message appears confirming successful posting of the batch. Select OK. To review all of the transactions in the batch, select Print Report icon on the Batch Listing report menu. A message appears stating the printing of the report is in progress. Note: You will not be able to print the Batch Listing report after the posting process

Print a Batch
You can print the batch record to see a list of recorded transactions. The header record does not need to be balanced before the Batch Listing report can be run. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting . The Batch Posting window opens. In the Existing Batches section, select the header batch that you want to print. Select the header record you want to print. Select the open menu icon, and then select Print > Batch Listing. The Batch Listing report preview appears. Parent topic: Managing Batches

Managing Batches
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, batches are sets of payment, adjustment, and refund transactions. You can create batches for each location, each day, or for each practice. For example, a batch can be created for a check-in staff to record all the transactions for the day. You can secure a batch or an enterprise batch grouping to a single user for security purposes. Any user without the appropriate security rights cannot access the transactions in the batch. You can also choose to remove an entire enterprise batch grouping from the list if none of the sub-batches are secured to the current user. You can use the Batch Maintenance window to manage batches for a given practice. Batch Status You can use the batch status for payment batches to denote the flow of line item balance. Enable the Batch Info Field on the Charge Posting Window
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences, and then Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. In the Preferences List on the left, select Charge Entry. Select an Active Batch
If your practice uses autoflow to check patients in and out, it is mportant to mark an active batch Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting . The Batch Posting window opens. Right-click the batch, and then select Set as Active Batch. A appears next to the batch. The selected batch is set as the active batch. Parent topic: Determining the Active Batch
