Search Criteria in Sliding Fee Batch Adjustment Window

You can use the following table to search the desired encounters in the Search Criteria section.

From DateSets the begin date for your search criteria, you can select one of the following options:
  • You can select Today to search for encounters with the current date in the To Date section.
  • You can select Yesterday to search for encounters with the previous day's date in the To Date section.
  • You can enter Day(s) ago to search for encounters with a previous date. You can enter or select the number of previous days to begin the search. For example, to search for encounters for the past week, enter seven (7).
  • You can select Earliest possible date to search for all encounters.
To DateSets the end date for your search criteria, you can select one of the following options:
  • You can select Today to search for encounters with the current date. You must select this option in the From Date section.
  • You can select Yesterday to search for encounters with the previous day's date. You must select this option in the From Date section.
  • You can select Day(s) ago to search for encounters with a previous date, you can enter or select the number of previous days to end the search.
Patient TypeShows types of patient.
Service LocationShows encounter service locations.
Rendering PhysicianShows the provider who rendered the service to the patient.
Financial ClassShows the patient's financial class, for example self-pay, workman's comp, or medicare.
Primary PayerShows the patient's primary payer.
Override Process DateOverrides date that is greater than or equal to the most recent date for all charges or encounters for override processing.
  • You can leave blank to use the current system date as the process date.
  • You can enter the minimum process date set by the practice.

    Sort the encounters/charges in reverse order to find the most recent date for all charges/encounters.
