Reposition Sections on the Advisor
You can reposition the various sections on left and right sides of the Advisor window in NextGen® Enterprise PM with "drag and drop" functionality. Access the Advisor Access the Advisor. Select the header of the section to be moved (for example, Encounters) and hold the mouse button down. Drag the mouse to move the section to the desired position on the window. Release the mouse button to drop the section in the new location. Note: Sections can also be rearranged from your General User Preferences > Advisor tab. Parent topic: Customizing the Advisor

Print A/R Charts from the Advisor
You can print charts from the Accounts Receivable section on the Advisor window. The data displayed in the chart is dependent on the Date Range selected. Access the Advisor Access the Advisor. In the Accounts Receivable section, select the desired Date Range. To print the entire chart with total charges, payments, adjustments and refunds, do one of the following: Select the Print Chart link. Right-click the chart and select Print Chart. The chart prints to the Default Printer defined in General User Preferences > Printing, or Practice Preferences > Printing. To print only the charges, payments, adjustments or refunds section of the chart, select the desired section. For example, select Total Payments. The Detail window appears. Do one of the following: Select the Print Chart link. Right-click the chart and select Print Chart. The chart prints to the Default Printer defined in General User Preferences > Printing, or Practice Preferences > Printing. Parent topic: Advisor Window

Set up Advisor Preferences
The Advisor user preferences enable you to make settings that have an impact on the display of the Advisor window in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. Select the Advisor tab. To automatically display theAdvisorwindow after logging in toNextGen® Enterprise PM, select theShow upon logoncheck box. To automatically display theAdvisorwindow after changing practices inNextGen® Enterprise PM, select theShow after practice changecheck box. In the list on the left, select the check boxes for sections to display on the left side of theAdvisorwindow. In the list on the right, select the check boxes for sections to display on the right side of theAdvisorwindow. To change the order that sections display on either sides of theAdvisorwindow, select a section name in the list, and then selectorbuttons to move the section name. Access the Advisor
You can access the Advisor window by doing one of the following: Log in to NextGen® Enterprise PM. If the Show upon logon option is selected in the General User Preferences > Advisor tab, the Advisor window opens automatically after you log in. Customizing the Advisor
There are two ways users can customize the Advisor window in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Multiple Users This is done by a system administrator by creating a Default User Prefs - General master file in File Maintenance, and then assigning it to groups of users in System Administrator.
