Printing Insurance Cards
The scanned image of an insurance card can be printed directly from the patient's appointment in the Appointment Book. The appointment must have an encounter linked to it, and one or more insurances must be attached to the encounter. Only those insurances with a scanned card image can be selected for printing. The scanned image of both the front and back of the card print on a single page. There is no option to preview the card prior to printing. Printing from Appointment Book
From the Appointment Book, select the appointment for which a letter is to be printed. Right-click and select Print, and then select Appt Reminder. The Demand Appointment Reminder Letter preview window displays the letter for the selected appointment. To print the letter, Enter the Print Dialog button or the Quick Print button on the letter preview toolbar. To close the window, Enter the Close Preview button on the letter preview toolbar. Printing from Appointments
The following items can be printed from either the Appointment Book or the Appointment Lookup window in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Insurance Card Fee Tickets Patient Data Sheets Printing Insurance Cards Printing Fee Tickets A Fee Ticket is a form than can be printed and given to the provider to document diagnosis codes and procedure codes for a patient's encounter. Print a Fee Ticket from the Appointment Book
A Fee Ticket can be printed for a patient's appointment from the Appointment Book. Access the Appointment Book. Select the desired patient appointment. Right-click and select Print, and then Fee Ticket. The Print Fee Tickets window opens. The body section on the fee ticket, or the section between the header and footer, will print the image imported for the appropriate location, provider, or event, if applicable. Otherwise, the image imported for the practice will print. To select a different body image, do the following in the Fee Ticket Options section: Select the Alternate Fee Ticket Body check box. Select the desired body name in the drop-down field. In the Printer Settings section, the default printer for fee tickets is displayed. Note: The default printer for Fee Tickets is defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences. To select a diff

Print a Patient Data Sheet from the Appointment Book
A Patient Data Sheet can be printed from a patient's appointment in the Appointment Book. Access the Appointment Book. Select the desired patient appointment. Right-click and select Print, and then one of the following: Patient Data Sheet Patient Data Sheet Detail The Patient Data Sheet preview window opens. To print the form to the default printer, select the Quick Print button on the toolbar. Note: The default printer for Patient Data Sheets is defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences. To print the form to a selected printer, select the Print button on the toolbar. The Print window opens. Select the desired printer Name, Print Range and Number of Copies, and then select OK.
