Statement Run Report

The Statement Run report generates when you select the Update Last Statement Dates check box on the Statement Options window, and you select Yes on the Did Statements Print/Export Correctly? message. The Statement Run report automatically generates when an individual demand statement or a batch of statements is printed or exported in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The report shows information for each account in the statement run. The Statement Run report can also be manually generated before printing or exporting a demand statement or a batch of statements. A report that is run prior to generating statements can be used to: Review which accounts are in the current batch and are ready to have a statement generated. Review the Credit Balance column on the report to identify accounts that should have their credit balance resolved prior to generating statements. Review the Statement Counter column on the report to identify accounts that should be processed for bad debt and go to collections prio

Generate a Statement Exceptions Report

To generate a Statement Exception report, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. From the options window, select the Check for Statement Exceptions check box. Do one of the following: To preview the statements, select Preview. To print the statements, select Print. To export the statements, select Export. If one or more statement exceptions are found, the following prompt appears: Exceptions Found. Would you like to view the report now? Do one of the following: To view the Statement Exceptions report without previewing, printing or exporting the statements, select Yes. The Statement Exceptions report is generated and displays on the screen. Print or Export Batch Statements

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. The default settings on the Statement Options > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Do one of the following: To print the statements, select Print. To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export. When the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a confirmation message appears that the statements are printed or exported correctly. If all statements in the batch did not print or export correctly, select No. The parameters listed below are not updated and all guarantor accounts in the batch will requalify for the next statement run. Exporting Statements

You can export statements to create ASCII files that are sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing). Both individual demand statements and batch statements can be exported. You must work closely with your statement processing vendor to ensure export files are created in NextGen® Enterprise PM and formatted using the appropriate data Delimiter and Text Qualifier required by the vendor. These must be defined in Practice Preferences > Forms > Export Options. Note: If you are using NextGen® EDI statement services, ensure to set the export options in Practice Preferences > Forms: Delimiter = <comma> and Text Qualifier = “. Reset Print Dates for Batch Statements

To reset print dates for a batch of statements, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the File menu, select Print Forms, and then Statements. The Statement Options window opens. Select Reset. The Reset Print Dates window opens. Enter the Date the statements were originally printed or exported. The default is today, or the current system date. Select Reset Dates. The Reset Print Dates for Statement window opens with one of the following messages: If no statements are generated on the selected date, a message appears stating that there were no Statements found that printed on [mm/dd/yyyy]. If statements are generated on the selected date, a message appears stating that found [n] Statements that printed on [mm/dd/yyyy]. Do you want to reset these to reprint today?
