Statement Exceptions Report Columns

Statement Exceptions Report

When generating batch statements or an individual demand statement, if the Check for Statement Exceptions check box is selected on the Statement Options window, and one or more exceptions are found, a Statement Exceptions report is generated after selecting the Preview, Print or Export button. From the report, you can review the accounts and encounters that have exceptions prior to printing or exporting the statements. The Check for Statement Exceptions process looks for and identifies the following: Encounters with charges that do not have a rendering provider. Encounters with charges that have an expired SIM code. Accounts with a $0.00 patient balance. Accounts with an account-level or encounter-level unapplied credit. Create Tasks from the Threshold Tracking Report

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. Generate a Threshold Tracking report. The report appears on screen. From the report toolbar, select Tasks . The Add Tasks from Report window opens. In the Task Type field, select the task to be created for each encounter on the report. In the Assigned To field, select the users the tasks will be assigned to. Enter additional information for the tasks as needed. To save changes and close the window, select OK. The following prompt displays for encounters on the report that do not have an existing open task: n source(s) on this report do not have an open task of this type assigned. Confirm mass creation of n task(s). Create Tasks from the Consolidated Services Claim Report

Work log Tasks can be manually created and assigned to users in batch mode from the Consolidated Services Claim report. A task is created for each encounter listed on the report that does not already have an existing open task. Note: Tasks to be created from the report must be set up in the Tasks Types master file with Source Type = Encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Run the Consolidated Services Claim process for one or more encounters. The Consolidated Services Claim report opens. Select the Assign Tasks button on the report toolbar. The Add Tasks from Report window opens. Select the Task Type and Assigned To users for the new tasks. Enter additional information for the tasks as needed. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. Run the Anesthesia Contractual Analysis report from the Reports > Accounts Receivable > Contractual Analysis menu. The Anesthesia Contractual Analysis report opens. Select the Assign Tasks button on the report toolbar. The Add Tasks from Report window opens. Select the Task Type and Assigned To user(s) for the new tasks.
