Print On-Demand Account-Level Receipts

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM On the main toolbar, select Account Account Lookup Button. The Account Lookup window opens. Enter the search criteria data, then select Find. Person and employer accounts that match the search criteria appear in the Account List section of the Account Lookup window. Double-click the account to open. The Account Profile window opens. Select the Account Summary tab. Right-click a transaction, and then select Account Receipt. The Print Account Receipt window opens. Select Print. A message appears stating that the printing of the account receipt is in progress. Note: You can also print receipts on demand from the Payment Entry window. Printing Account-Level Receipts

An on-demand account-level receipt summarizes the transaction payments and all payments on the account. The account-level receipt contains the following information: Payments applied to multiple patients on a single account. Payments made for multiple encounters on the account for a single patient. Unapplied payments. A person, employer, or guarantor can have an account with a medical practice and an account-level receipt for any of these entities. The account-level receipt includes the total payment amount, amounts for each patient name, the encounter number, and the amount applied to each encounter. Print On-Demand Account-Level Receipts You can use the Account Summary tab to print account level receipts. Invoice Headers and Footers

Invoices have a standard Remittance Header and Default Footer as shown below. The standard remittance header includes the following information: Make Checks Payable To: Practice name and address Note: This section is replaced with a practice/company logo if imported from the File > Tools > Image Explorer menu. Addressee: Employer name and address If Paying by Credit Card: Statement, charge, and account detail Remit To: Practice name and address The standard default footer includes the following information: Account Number, Other Invoice Balances, Invoice Charges, Payments, Adjustments, Invoice Balance Message: Default footer message from Practice Preferences > Invoices Please Pay This Amount Payment Due Upon Receipt banner ACCOUNT INVOICE Page n of n By default, the remittance header and default footer print on every page for invoices. Create a Report Header and Footer

You may choose to create a specific Header and/or Footer for your report. Note: By default, each NextGen® Enterprise EHR Report has a Header that displays Practice Title and Date Prepared (formatted as 1/1/xx), as well as a Footer that displays Page Number (formatted Page 1). From the Report Filter, select Head/Foot. The Customize Report Header/Footer window opens.
